Broadstone has appointed Adam Bexson (pictured) as a senior consultant in its defined contribution (DC) team.

Bexson joins Broadstone with 20 years’ experience working within the DC sector with particular expertise around the development and delivery of governance oversight to provide employers with actions to drive positive change.

In previous roles, Bexon has designed and delivered pension solutions and leveraged the increased use of data in governance reporting to help employers identify and take action on specific issues such as under-saving and legacy pension pots.

He comes to Broadstone from Verlingue where he was senior corporate pension consultant and he has also spent time at Brooks Macdonald, Barnett Waddingham and Alexander Forbes.

A key focus of his new role will be helping Broadstone identify and implement ways to improve outcomes for employers and their employees.

He will also focus on creating and developing new client partnerships to contribute to Broadstone’s continued growth and success in the Employee Benefits Consulting market.

Damon Hopkins, head of DC workplace savings at Broadstone, said: “Adam brings specialist DC capabilities which will support our division’s ambitious growth plans as we continue to deliver our high-quality independent DC proposition to employers and trustees”

Adam Bexson, senior consultant in Broadstone’s DC team, said: “I join Broadstone at a time of significant regulatory, legislative and fiscal change within the pensions market.

“As we look ahead to the Budget later this month, and the uncertainty it brings, it is clear that there is strong demand from employers and employees for clear, actionable and expert advice to support their long-term pension and benefit decision-making.

“I look forward to achieving this as part of a growing and innovative organisation and am excited to contribute to its ongoing success.”
