Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed pensions partner Dan Naylor as a pensions partner in its London office.

Naylor was previously at Travers Smith, where he led the risk transfer offering until August 2024.

He brings more than 20 years of experience advising trustees, employers and insurers on pensions risk transfer, as well as work on pension scheme restructurings and long-term security arrangements.

Naylor said: “It’s an exciting time to join Pinsent Masons’ growing pensions team and to be part of a firm that complements my practice so well.

“I’m looking forward to building on the support we offer in the pensions space.”

Stephen Scholefield, head of pensions & long-term savings at Pinsent Masons, said: “With his experience and unique expertise in risk transfer matters, Dan will be a key asset to our team, and will enhance our services proposition to advise on large and complex mandates for insurers.”
