MARCH appoints first chief people officer

In her new role, Jo Pick will lead MARCH’s people strategy, focusing on team development and career progression.

Engineering specialist MARCH has appointed Jo Pick as its first chief people officer (CPO) in a move to support the company’s ongoing growth.

Pick joins from Wincanton, where she led a team of over 300 supporting more than 20,000 people across the UK and Ireland. 

She has over 20 years of senior leadership experience in people strategy, with previous roles at Greencore, Johnson & Johnson and Royal Mail.

In her new role, Pick will lead MARCH’s people strategy, focusing on team development and career progression. 

She will also manage initiatives to attract and retain staff, support training through the MARCH Academy, and strengthen engineering skills across the business.
