A Derby-based employee has been named the most customer-focused individual across Nissan UK’s retail network.
Krystian Duda, master technician at Vertu Nissan Derby, has been awarded Dealer Ambassador of the Year for the 2024 financial year, recognising his commitment to customers and his in-depth product knowledge.
Duda, 41, was selected from staff at more than 130 Nissan dealerships nationwide. He first won the Quarter Four Dealer Ambassador award before progressing to claim the overall annual title.
Judges praised his willingness to go beyond expectations, such as accompanying customers on test drives to better diagnose issues and ensure efficient repairs.
His nomination stated: “Krystian’s commitment to his customers is outstanding and he always goes the extra mile without hesitation.”
Brian Davison, regional aftersales manager at Nissan Motor GB, said: “I recently had the pleasure, alongside my colleague Gordon Hunter, of presenting Krystian Duda with his prestigious ‘Ambassador of the Year’ award.
“The decision was based on the outstanding feedback received highlighting his dedication, innovation and customer-first mindset. Reflecting on the award, Duda said: “Naturally I am delighted to receive this award! It’s wonderful that my efforts have been recognised and I’m very grateful. Keeping the workshop running smoothly at Vertu Nissan Derby is very much a team effort, so I accept this award on behalf of myself and all my colleagues.”
