Barnett Waddingham (BW) has added two people to its BW self-invested personal pension (SIPP) leadership team.
Emily Crotty (pictured, centre) has taken on head of SIPP Risk, while Rebecca Smith (pictured, right) started as head of SIPP Finance earlier this year.
Crotty joins from the Embark Group, where she led the compliance advisory team.
She will focus on risk mitigation and shaping the risk framework for BW’s SIPP services.
Meanwhile, Smith is responsible for finance and brings experience in financial leadership, supporting the business’s growth plans.
These appointments follow Nick Cooper (pictured, left) being made CEO of BW SIPP, replacing Simon Foster.
Crotty said: “I am excited to join BW SIPP at this pivotal time.
“My focus will be on ensuring our risk framework supports both innovation and strong governance, so we can continue delivering a safe, high-quality service for all of our customers.”
Smith said: “BW SIPP has a clear vision for growth. My role will be focused on ensuring our financial strategy delivers this growth and enables the best outcomes for customers.”
Cooper said: “As we move from transformation into market growth, we need leaders who not only understand the complexities of our sector but can also shape the environment for future growth.
“Emily and Rebecca’s appointments will be crucial to strengthen our foundations as we accelerate into this next phase.”
