Cumbria-wide scheme to help more people with complex needs into work

The Cumbria Connect to Work Invitation to Tender (ITT) is now open for submissions from experienced employment support providers.

Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council have revealed that a Government-funded scheme, ‘Connect to Work’, will launch in January 2026 with Enterprising Cumbria. 

The scheme is aimed at helping people with complex needs get into employment across Cumbria.

The Cumbria Connect to Work Invitation to Tender (ITT) is now open for submissions from experienced employment support providers. 

The councils want to support more people into sustainable jobs and improve economic inclusion in the region.

The deadline for submissions is 29th September 2025.
