Skillvue secures $6.3m to expand AI-powered skills and assessment platform
The HR platform, which initially focused on recruitment, has evolved into a broader tool for organisations to develop employee capabilities in response to rising demand for reskilling.
HR technology company Skillvue has raised $6.3m (£4.7m) in seed funding to accelerate the development of its AI-driven platform for assessing workforce skills.
The platform, which initially focused on recruitment, has evolved into a broader tool for organisations to develop employee capabilities in response to rising demand for reskilling.
The latest funding round was led by 360 Capital, with participation from Italian Founders Fund and 14Peaks Capital – both of which co-led the company’s $2.8m pre-seed round in 2024 – and co-investment from Orbita Verticale.
With this round, Skillvue’s total funding has reached $9.5m since its founding, including $375,000 in angel investment in 2021.
Skillvue aims to address a growing skills gap in the labor market, where 70% of HR professionals reported difficulty finding candidates with appropriate skills.
The company’s platform also hopes to support organisations in conducting scalable, AI-powered assessments that map competencies across candidates and existing employees.
In the past year, the company has grown its annual recurring revenue eightfold and plans to double its headcount from 14 to 30 full-time employees by the end of 2025.
New hires will be based in Italy, Germany, and Canada, supporting platform expansion and organisational scaling.
