EDF Energy ranked in the top 10 of The Sunday Times’ Best Places to Work 2025 in the ‘Very Big Organisation’ category for firms with over 2,000 employees.

The Sunday Times assessed more than 500 organisations using WorkL’s employee engagement survey, which was put together by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders and academics.

EDF Customers scored among the highest for engagement in the 2,000+ employee group.

The award follows EDF’s efforts to improve employee experience and create jobs at its call centres in Exeter, Hove and Sunderland.

Philippe Commaret (pictured), managing director of EDF Customers, said: “To be listed as a top 10 Very Big Organisation in The Sunday Times’ ‘Best Places to Work 2025’ list is a fantastic achievement.

“Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we firmly believe creating a supportive and inclusive environment for our employees is the best way to deliver an excellent service for our customers.”
