E.ON has been named the best place to work for 16 to 34-year-olds in the UK by The Sunday Times and was ranked in the top 10 best places to work overall.

The results were based on employee feedback for The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 survey.

The recognition covered E.ON’s UK businesses, including E.ON Next, npower business solutions, and E.ON energy infrastructure solutions.

Employees have worked on projects such as digital tools to help customers with energy choices, energy upgrades in hospitals, and a home battery trial in Coventry that helped households save up to £300 on energy bills.

Chris Norbury (pictured), CEO of E.ON UK, said: “We’ve always said that people are our greatest energy source – and this recognition proves it.

“Whether they’re working with households, hospitals or high streets, our colleagues bring care, commitment and creativity to everything they do.

“I’m proud to be part of a team that’s showing what’s possible when you combine positive culture with real purpose.”

Norbury added: “This isn’t just a great place to work – it’s a great place to grow and to deliver for the country.

“So, thank you – to our energising playmakers for making E.ON one of the UK’s best places to work, and to our customers for trusting us to power your homes, businesses and communities.”
