Leigh Ann Schell appointed as Vantage Towers’ new CHRO

Leigh Ann Schell joins Vantage Towers as CHRO, bringing extensive experience to further develop the HR strategy amidst the company's rapid growth.

Vantage Towers AG has announced the appointment of Leigh Ann Schell as the new chief human resources officer (CHRO), effective April 1, 2024.

In her role, Schell will be tasked with evolving the HR strategy to support the company’s rapid expansion and its increasingly diverse workforce.

She succeeds Nikolaus Rama, who left the company at the end of March 2024, and will report directly to CEO Christian Hillabrant as part of the Executive Committee.

Christian Hillabrant, CEO, highlighted the importance of Schell’s role in the context of Vantage Towers’ growth. “As our company is growing rapidly, the needs of our diverse team are always changing. Leigh Ann’s wealth of knowledge and experience on a global scale will be invaluable in supporting the employees of Vantage Towers, who are our most valuable asset. I wish her the best of luck in her new role.”

Echoing the sentiments of her commitment to the Vantage Towers team, Schell stated: “Vantage Towers has a unique culture: we are a fast-growing company with a diverse team of employees from over 40 nations. It is very important to me to support and nurture this team and I am very much looking forward to working together so that we can further develop the HR department as an enabler of our joint success.”

Schell’s career in Human Resources spans various industries and global regions, including leadership roles in North America, EMEA, and APAC. Her extensive experience encompasses building and developing HR processes and teams globally. Before joining Vantage Towers, Schell was the Chief Human Resources Officer at NextEdge, an infrastructure company in North America.
