The events, which saw over 160 attendees, provided a platform for potential candidates to engage with the company’s recruitment team and current employees, gaining insights into career opportunities within Clark Contracts and the broader industry.

During the events, the recruitment and HR manager showcased the company’s Academy and apprenticeship opportunities, highlighting the progression of former apprentices into management roles within Clark Contracts. Available positions include Trade Apprentices, Trainee Estimators, Trainee Site Managers, Trainee Maintenance Administrators, and Trainee Quantity Surveyors.

Gordon Cunningham, managing director at Clark Contracts, expressed enthusiasm about the events’ success and the interest shown by attendees in building careers in the industry. “It was great to have another year of successful careers events, and it was heartening to see so many people turn out and show an interest in starting their careers in the industry. We are committed to ensuring new talent is recruited into the industry as a whole and are looking forward to welcoming this year’s intake and seeing them progress through our Academy over the coming years,” said Cunningham.

Clark Contracts is dedicated to fostering new talent within the construction industry, currently hosting over 36 trainees and apprentices in its award-winning Academy across various roles, including Site Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Buying, Marketing, Estimating, and Trade Apprenticeships.
