FitFlop has introduced a salary sacrifice scheme for its 165 UK employees to help reduce childcare costs. This arrangement, in collaboration with WorkPlace Nursery, enables staff to pay for nursery fees from their pre-tax salary, offering savings on tax and national insurance. The scheme also benefits nurseries by providing them with extra funds from the employer’s national insurance contributions, with employees having a say in the use of these funds during bi-annual meetings.
Employees interested in the scheme can register through the WorkPlace Nursery website, which also includes a calculator to estimate savings, accounting for the provider’s 12% administrative fee. To be eligible, nursery fees must be at least £650 monthly.
Emma Andrews, global payroll and reward specialist at FitFlop, stated: “We have partnered with Workplace Nursery to launch the workplace nursery scheme, ultimately saving our employees money on their nursery fees. It has already been very well received by our employees and I’m proud to add this to my list of achievements at such a great place to work.”
In addition to this nursery scheme, FitFlop offers a range of other employee benefits, including private medical and dental insurance, employee assistance programmes, and more.
