Photoroom reported that founders are now using artificial intelligence (AI) to manage most tasks, making it possible to achieve high revenues without hiring extra staff.

The research found that bringing in more staff does not always lead to better output or faster results.

According to data, AI is replacing many repeatable, labour-intensive jobs, with founders turning to software instead of extra staff.

In e-commerce, for example, product images are created and published automatically, listings are updated across different sites, and marketing assets are produced on demand.

Tasks that once needed full teams are now handled by one founder with the help of AI tools.

Photoroom’s platform is used by solo sellers, direct-to-consumer founders and small businesses with large catalogues.

By automating visual production and creative workflows, founders can keep professional standards, boost output, and speed up time to market without hiring more people.

Most routine operations are automated, which lets founders focus on strategy and creative decisions.

Photoroom expects that the “One and Done” business will become the default for AI-native entrepreneurs in 2026, changing how companies are built, scaled and run.
