Excel London has appointed Helene Sharrock (pictured) as chief people officer (CPO), a new executive role to support its people, culture and growth plans.
The role was created after a review of the people and culture team, and aims to help Excel deliver on its mission to become the best event destination in the world.
Sharrock joins from her previous role as CPO at The Jockey Club.
She has also held senior positions at Marks & Spencer, BT, ESPN and ITN.
She will be responsible for leading Excel’s people strategy, supporting organisational development and shaping workplace culture.
