Rygor Group has announced its sponsorship of the Women in Motor Industry Awards 2025, a celebration of the women shaping the future of the automotive sector.

The event takes place on 4th December at the Marriott Grosvenor Square and will bring together female professionals from across the industry to recognise achievement and promote inclusion and empowerment.

The awards celebrate trailblazers, leaders and rising stars redefining what it means to work in automotive.

Rygor said it is proud to support such a meaningful initiative, reflecting its own commitment to attracting more women into the sector and removing barriers that have historically discouraged female talent from pursuing automotive careers.

The group recorded a 64% increase in female job applicants between 2023 and 2024, driven by its diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Four Rygor employees have been shortlisted across multiple categories. Emily Walsh, people and culture executive, is nominated in the Rising Star category, while Emma Joyce, area parts manager, is recognised in the OEM and Dealer Advocate for Change category. Samantha Bettridge, people relations manager, is nominated for both the Unsung Hero and OEM and Dealer Advocate for Change awards.

Kate Ruberry-Shoemack, director of people and communication, is a dual nominee in the Dealer Inspirational Leader of the Year and Dealer Woman of the Year categories.

Emma Joyce said: “It’s an honour to be recognised among so many incredible women who are making a real difference in our industry.

At Rygor, I’ve had the opportunity to grow and contribute to a culture that truly values inclusion and celebrates every individual’s potential. I hope our stories inspire more women to see the automotive world as a place where they can thrive.”

Rygor said the nominations highlight the contribution and leadership of women across its business, from people and culture to operations and strategy.

As a proud sponsor of the awards, the group reaffirmed its commitment to creating an environment where everyone can thrive, be heard and succeed.
