Thorntons has appointed Helen Honeyman (pictured, left) as chief people officer (CPO) to lead its people strategy. 

Honeyman joins from Lothian Pension Fund, where she held a senior role, and has more than 20 years’ experience in operations and human resources. 

She will be based in Dundee and work with senior leadership and the people team to deliver employee engagement and recruitment initiatives.
