Coventry Building Society has been named one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing by Great Place to Work.
The organisation ranked 20th out of 50 in the ‘super large’ category.
Colleagues at the Society had access to a range of benefits covering physical and mental wellbeing, such as cancer screening, financial wellbeing sessions, a digital GP service and set time for personal development.
Over the last year, the Society also received four other workplace accolades from Great Place to Work.
These included awards for best workplaces for women, development, financial services, and overall, with the Society ranking 13th among super large UK companies.
James Taylor, colleague experience manager at Coventry Building Society, said: “We’re delighted with this result – it’s fantastic recognition of the effort we put into supporting our people.
“We work alongside our colleagues to create an all-round package of wellbeing support, from mental health resources to physical wellness initiatives.
“It’s something we’re genuinely passionate about, and the fact that 88% of our colleagues feel supported in both their physical and mental wellbeing really matters to us.”
Taylor added: “We’ve got lots in the pipeline to keep colleagues happy and well, so they can bring their best selves to work every day.”
