Roy Magara noted that employers could face a tougher test when refusing requests from staff who want to continue working from home under changes planned for autumn 2027.
Frances Li said flexible working should remain a two-way arrangement, with employers considering requests fairly and employees maintaining productivity, communication and accountability.
Rebecca Waller said: “The aim should be to create the conditions in which people can focus, work comfortably and finish the day without feeling they must remain connected all evening.”
