The Personal Finance Society has marked the first anniversary of its Pathway to the Profession programme and announced the next phase of its £1m investment in financial planning talent.
The two-day event will welcome more than 3,000 delegates.
Around three quarters of the new members are aged 30 or under, with four in 10 in their 20s, one in three in their 30s and about 5% in their teens.
Callum Beaton, president of the CII, said: “We look forward to celebrating the continued positive impact of apprentices and employers.”
More than 2,300 students joined the insurance programme and over 4,200 took part in the personal finance course.
Carla Brown said: “With spaces still remaining, we would like to encourage the wider professional community to share this opportunity within their networks."
Nicola Stacey, president of the CII, said: “Those recognised have demonstrated professionalism, technical excellence, and a commitment to continuous development."
The programme aims to give aspiring financial services professionals the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed at the start of their careers.
