Former chancellor Jeremy Hunt has warned that raising Capital Gains Tax above 24% would reduce revenues by changing investor behaviour.
Speaking to Sky News, Hunt said current rules force some mothers to choose between undergoing cancer treatment and spending time with their newborn.
The Budget, which was billed as being for a ‘high wage, high skill economy’, was missing much needed new announcements on skills, according to CIPD.
