Almost 17,000 GPs and GP registrars took part in the vote, with 98.9% opposing the plans and calling for a return to negotiations.
The deal, announced today, 12th December, covers the 2025–26 financial year and elements of 2026–27.
According to the British Medical Association (BMA), a staggering 98.7% of GP partners who participated in a recent referendum backed the move.
