Zellis has made its Zellis Intelligent Assistant, an AI assistant built into its ZellisONE platform, available through Microsoft Copilot.

The tool can be accessed through Copilot, Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

It allows employees, managers and human resources (HR) teams to ask questions about pay, staffing and workplace records.

The assistant can explain changes to take-home pay, show team overtime, identify outstanding right-to-work checks and check staff availability for shifts.

It can also handle actions including leave approvals, contract amendments and pay adjustments.

Abigail Vaughan, chief executive of Zellis, said: “AI is only as powerful as the data behind it.

“The AI era won’t be won by the organisations with the most AI.

“It will be won by the organisations that deploy AI thoughtfully, to reinvent worklife and deliver a compelling return on investment.”

Vaughan added: “Customers have invested heavily in capturing rich workforce data, but too often it stays locked in applications.

“Frequently, AI asks people to leave the systems they work in.

Ruthy Kaidar, EMEA regional director at Microsoft, said: “AI delivers the greatest value when it connects people to the information and processes they use every day.

“By providing access to Zellis Intelligent Assistant through Microsoft Copilot, organisations can give employees, managers and HR teams easier access to workforce insights and actions while maintaining appropriate security and governance controls.”
