Timetastic launches rota and time-tracking platform

Timetastic has launched Rota & Time Clock, a workforce scheduling and time-tracking platform designed to bring rotas and annual leave management into one system.

The launch follows a customer validation project which saw 378 businesses join a waitlist for the platform within days.

Rota & Time Clock operates separately from Timetastic’s existing leave management application and provides businesses with tools to manage rotas, working hours, employee documentation and attendance.

The company said the platform was developed in response to challenges faced by employers using multiple systems to manage staffing and leave.

Timetastic’s platform data showed that of more than 372,000 holidays booked through its system during 2025, over 74,000 were cancelled and never taken.

The new platform allows managers to create and publish rotas, share changes with employees and respond to staffing gaps by posting open shifts to qualified and available workers.

Managers can also view employee availability and approved annual leave when scheduling shifts, while a built-in Time Clock allows employees to clock in and out using their own devices.

Hours worked are then matched against scheduled shifts to produce timesheets for payroll.
