Broadstone launches pensions consulting service for trade unions

Broadstone has launched a pensions consulting service for trade unions.
The service will help unions manage their pension arrangements, represent members and respond to changes in the UK pensions market.
It will also provide advice on proposed pension scheme changes, workplace benefit negotiations and communications with members.
Broadstone will support unions that operate pension schemes and advise member-nominated trustees.
The service will cover collective bargaining and workplace negotiations, as well as actuarial, investment and regulatory issues.
David Brooks, head of policy at Broadstone and leader of its trade unions service, said: “The UK pensions system is continuing to evolve with significant policy changes intended to improve outcomes for working people.
“Trade Unions have been at the forefront of these debates in championing collective solutions and advocating for better retirement security while also facing many of the same challenges as other employers in delivering value for members.
“Through the launch of this dedicated Trade Unions offering, Broadstone continues to show its commitment to working alongside these organisations as pension reforms take shape and to helping build a pensions system that delivers financial sustainability, fairness and dignity in retirement.”
