Avanti West Coast gains workplace inclusion accreditation

Avanti West Coast has received bronze accreditation under the Inclusive Employers Standard, a workplace accreditation and benchmarking scheme run by Inclusive Employers.

The accreditation recognised the train operator’s work to develop inclusion and diversity across its business.

Avanti West Coast was also recognised for its staff networks, accessibility panel and partnerships with external organisations.

Jo MacPhail, people and transformation director at Avanti West Coast, said: “We’re proud to have achieved the Inclusive Employers Standard Bronze Accreditation, recognising the strong foundations we’ve built for inclusion across our organisation.

“From our Inclusion Networks and Accessibility Panel to our partnerships with industry organisations, this accreditation reflects our continued commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected.”
