20,000 jobseekers use DWP CV tool since June
The tool forms part of the DWP’s Work Hub, a free digital platform designed to provide employment support through phones, tablets and computers.
Around 20,000 jobseekers have used the Department for Work and Pensions’ (DWP) new CV builder since its launch in June.
The tool forms part of the DWP’s Work Hub, a free digital platform designed to provide employment support through phones, tablets and computers.
A further 16,000 people have used its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Work Assistant, which provides personalised guidance on job searches, applications, interview preparation and career development.
The Work Hub also allows users to search and apply for jobs, identify training opportunities and create CVs designed for online recruitment platforms.
It sits alongside face-to-face support provided by Jobcentre work coaches.
Lilian Greenwood, Minister for Innovation, Fraud and Data, said: “The world of work is changing, so the support we provide must change with it, and the Work Hub is innovation at its finest.
“In just a few months, around 20,000 people have already used our CV tools to showcase their skills and take important steps towards finding work.”
The platform also provides employers with a space to advertise vacancies, access recruitment advice and connect with local labour markets.
