Tandem Bank strengthens leadership team with new CPO

Tandem Bank has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Kevin Purcell (pictured) as its new chief people officer (CPO).

Purcell joins after more than 30 years in senior people leadership at Secure Trust Bank, Universities Superannuation Scheme, Barclays Investment Bank and UBS Investment Bank. 

Purcell replaces Catherine Diamond, who served as CPO for two years.

Purcell said: “You can tell a lot about a business from the recognition it earns from its own people. 

“Back-to-back Sunday Times awards showcase what Tandem is building, and I am looking forward to taking that agenda further as we scale.”
