PeoplePlus recognised for inclusive workplace culture
PeoplePlus was recognised for building an age-friendly and inclusive workplace through visible leadership, wellbeing initiatives, peer support networks and practical support.

PeoplePlus has been recognised for its inclusive workplace culture in a new report from the Centre for Ageing Better.
The study, Making Workplaces Work for Everyone, looked at how employers can better support older workers, disabled people and those with long-term health conditions.
PeoplePlus was named as one of three examples of good practice in the report.
The case study highlighted PeoplePlus for building an age-friendly and inclusive workplace through visible leadership, wellbeing initiatives, peer support networks and practical support.
It set out the role of Kenny Boyle, CEO of PeoplePlus, as senior sponsor for the Age-friendly Employer Pledge, as well as the range of peer-led groups available to staff, such as a carers support group, equity, diversity and inclusion champions, menopause cafes and peer-to-peer mental health support.
The report also referenced the management academy, which supports managers to have confident conversations about health and wellbeing, and the health support plans used for colleagues aged 55 and over.
Boyle said: “I’m pleased that this report recognises the importance of creating a workplace culture where conversations about health, wellbeing and support needs are normalised.
“The findings align closely with our organisational trademarks and with the work we deliver every day supporting people facing barriers, including older workers and those living with long-term health conditions.”
