Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water strengthens executive team with two senior appointments

Kaye Maguire joins as chief people and governance officer, while Christian Irwin has joined as chief asset officer.

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water strengthens executive team with two senior appointments

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has appointed Kaye Maguire as chief people and governance officer and Christian Irwin as chief asset officer. 

Both will join the executive team to support the company’s transformation programme and £4.2bn investment plan. 

Maguire will start before the end of the year, while Irwin will join in January 2027.

Maguire joins from Michael Page, where she was general counsel and company secretary since 2018, leading global legal, governance, environmental, social and governance (ESG) and data protection functions. 

She previously held senior roles at Legal & General, including chief resourcing and legal officer at Legal & General Investment Management.

She brings more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership, governance and organisational change.

Irwin joins from Network Rail, where he led capital delivery for the North West and Central region, managing a £1bn annual investment portfolio. 

He has more than 18 years of experience in major infrastructure, asset management and transformation programmes.
