Currys and Learning Curve Group partner to launch driver apprenticeship scheme
The 10-month training programme is open to everyone, including NEETs, and forms part of Currys’ commitment to provide “skills for life”.

Currys has partnered with Learning Curve Group to launch a national Urban Driver Apprenticeship programme aimed at tackling the driver shortage and opening up logistics careers across the UK.
The new apprenticeship provides a recognised qualification, accredited by Highfield, and the chance to gain a C Licence.
Learners will get hands-on experience and the opportunity to build a long-term career at Currys.
The 10-month training programme is open to everyone, including those not in education, employment or training (NEETs), and forms part of Currys’ commitment to provide “skills for life”.
Simon Boss, director of home delivery at Currys, said: “Investing in apprenticeships is critical to building the nation’s future workforce.
“Through this partnership we’re delighted to be developing a pipeline of skilled 7.5 tonne drivers who can support our operations today and strengthen the resilience of our network in the years ahead.”
Ryan Parks, apprenticeship sales director at Learning Curve Group, said: “There is a clear and urgent need to bring new talent into the logistics sector.
“By working with Currys, we’re able to deliver high-quality training that equips learners with the skills, confidence and qualifications they need to succeed in a vital industry.”
