Jigsaw Finance recognised among Britain’s fastest-growing private companies
Jigsaw Finance has secured a place in The Sunday Times 100, recognising its rapid growth in lending, headcount and dealer network following investment in its technology platform and operations.

Jigsaw Finance has been named in The Sunday Times 100, which recognises Britain’s fastest-growing private companies, following a period of expansion since the business changed ownership in 2023.
The motor finance broker said lending volumes have increased by 414% since co-owners Alex Hurst and James Weir acquired the business, while its workforce has grown by 146%. The company has also expanded its network of dealer partners across the UK.
Jigsaw attributed its growth to investment in technology, operations and dealer relationships, including the development of its proprietary Artis platform. The system connects dealerships with a panel of lenders and industry systems to streamline the vehicle finance process for dealers and customers.
Alex Hurst, co-owner of Jigsaw Finance, said: “Growth has come from focusing on the fundamentals. We’ve invested in technology, strengthened our relationships with dealers and lenders and built the operational capability needed to scale.
“Being recognised in the Sunday Times 100 reflects the hard work, commitment and expertise of our team over the last few years. It’s an important milestone for us, but our focus remains firmly on building on that momentum and continuing to grow.”
James Weir, co-owner of Jigsaw Finance, added: “The motor finance market has faced its share of challenges, but we’ve remained focused on the things we can control.
“Many brokers rely on third-party systems, whereas we’ve invested heavily in our own platform and the infrastructure behind it.
“Artis gives us greater control over the customer and dealer journey, helping us process applications more efficiently, improve approval outcomes and support our dealer partners at scale.
