Gen Z founders most likely to struggle with work-life balance, Adobe Acrobat finds
The study of 350 UK business owners found just 20% of Gen Z founders prioritise work-life balance when running their business, compared with 70% of Gen X entrepreneurs.

Gen Z business owners are almost three times more likely than older generations to struggle with maintaining a healthy work-life balance, according to research from Adobe Acrobat.
The study of 350 UK business owners found just 20% of Gen Z founders prioritise work-life balance when running their business, compared with 70% of Gen X entrepreneurs.
Adobe said this makes Gen Z founders 167% more likely to lack a healthy work-life balance.
Despite spending less time focusing on their personal lives, only 40% of Gen Z founders reported improved financial growth when they were able to increase their focus, compared with 52% of Gen X and 56% of Baby Boomers.
The research also found rising inflation, increasing wage demands, falling income and wider financial pressures were the biggest distractions for business owners across all generations.
However, Gen Z founders were the most affected, with 60% citing these issues, compared with 48% of Millennials and 46% of Gen X.
Among Gen Z founders, 60% said distractions had resulted in revenue losses of up to £10,000.
A further 20% cited reduced productivity, 20% increased competition and 20% employee burnout as consequences of losing focus.
