Davina McCall honoured as Menopause Friendly Inspirational Voice
McCall said: “I’m thrilled to be named among such amazing people and organisations who are all doing great work advocating for menopause at work and home."
Davina McCall (pictured) has received the Menopause Friendly Inspirational Voice Honour for her work to raise awareness about menopause.
The recognition is for public figures who have helped reduce stigma and keep the conversation about menopause going in workplaces and in wider society.
McCall said: “I’m thrilled to receive this honour and be named among such amazing people and organisations who are all doing great work advocating for menopause at work and home.
“I can’t quite believe it’s five years since Sex Myths and the Menopause aired on Channel 4.
“I wasn’t prepared for the impact it would have but I knew it HAD to be made.”
McCall added: “The Henpicked gang has led the culture change for how menopause is managed in the workplace and I love their work.
“So, it’s extra special to be given this award by them.”
