Big Motoring World has begun an employee consultation on a scale-down of Big Wants Your Car, its division that sources used cars from consumers.
The scale-down would potentially result in redundancies.
Big Motoring World said it is working with those potentially impacted to explore all available options, and evaluate re-deployment where practicable.
Big Wants Your Car will remain a source of stock for the group, although the number of cars sourced through the channel will be reduced.
The consultation period began yesterday, Tuesday 28th July.
