Arts University Bournemouth commits to Real Living Wage
From 1st August 2026, all staff will receive at least the Real Living Wage of £13.45 an hour.
Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has committed to becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer by the end of the year.
From 1st August 2026, all staff will receive at least the Real Living Wage of £13.45 an hour.
The university said pay will also keep up with future Real Living Wage rates.
This agreement followed talks between the university and UNISON about recognising the work of professional, technical and support staff.
Tim Roberts, south west regional secretary at UNISON, said: “Arts University Bournemouth becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer is an important step towards ensuring staff feel recognised and valued at work.
“At a time when many workers continue to face pressure from rising household bills and everyday costs, paying at least the Real Living Wage provides greater financial security for staff and their families.”
