Epassi UK unveils rebrand following Zest acquisition
Research cited by Epassi UK found that 55% of employees believe their current benefits package is inadequate.
Epassi UK has officially launched a new brand identity following its acquisition of employee benefits technology provider Zest in June 2025.
The deal marked a significant step in the wider Epassi Group’s expansion strategy as it seeks to become a leading European technology platform for employee benefits and engagement.
Epassi UK said it supports employers by providing benefits focused on fitness, physical health and wellbeing through a technology platform designed to make those services more accessible to employees.
The launch comes against a backdrop of rising workplace health challenges.
According to the company, UK employees take an average of nine sick days a year, while the cost of employee sickness to businesses has increased by £30bn since 2018.
Research cited by Epassi UK found that 55% of employees believe their current benefits package is inadequate, while 56% said the quality of their benefits package affects morale at work. Just 18% said their employer regularly communicates with them about their available benefits.
Following the acquisition, former Zest CEO Matt Russell was appointed CEO of Epassi UK. He now leads the business alongside marketing director Liliana Teixeira.
Russell said: “Good quality benefits packages can be transformative for employees and businesses alike. Not only do wellbeing benefits need to be accessible, much like modern ways of working, they must also be flexible – increasing engagement, promoting uptake and ensuring healthy habits stick. Epassi UK is supporting employers to help make this a reality – boosting the health of workers and businesses across the UK.”
