Broadstone has appointed Daniel Murdoch (pictured) as a director within its banking and credit advisory division.
Murdoch joins the firm from Coventry Building Society, where he served as head of credit model integration.
He has previously held roles at Nationwide, Lloyds Banking Group, TSB Bank and Virgin Money.
In his new role, he will lead internal ratings-based (IRB), capital management and model risk engagements, with responsibility for regulatory assessment, model design, validation, Pillar 2 requirements and wider model risk strategy.
The appointment comes as Broadstone continues to expand its banking and credit advisory division following the acquisitions of Vestigo Partners in 2024 and Rockstead earlier this year, alongside a number of senior hires.
Damien Burke, head of regulatory practice in Broadstone’s Banking & Credit Advisory division, said: “Daniel is a highly respected risk modelling professional with extensive experience across the banking and credit markets.
“His expertise in risk modelling, model integration and regulatory frameworks will further strengthen the support we provide to clients as they navigate an increasingly complex environment.
“Daniel’s appointment reflects our continued investment in expanding the depth and breadth of our Banking & Credit Advisory team.
