Barnett Waddingham has been appointed by the Pensions Archive Trust to provide pro bono secretariat and governance support. 

The charity preserves the history and development of pensions in the UK, with records and materials available for research and education.

Barnett Waddingham’s board management services team will offer ongoing support to help the trust strengthen its governance, enhance compliance and embed best practice. 

The appointment is part of Barnett Waddingham’s ongoing work in the charity and not-for-profit pensions sector.

Lucy Cresswell, partner and head of pensions governance and secretariat at Barnett Waddingham, said: “We are delighted to be able to support the Pensions Archive Trust on a pro bono basis, ensuring that the trust can continue to play a pivotal role in preserving the history of occupational pension schemes.”
