Rathbones has announced new initiatives aimed at broadening access to careers and strengthening its early talent pipeline.
The firm will run a year-in-industry programme for university students, offering nine-month placements starting in September 2026 to help build a strong pipeline into the 2028 graduate scheme.
Rathbones is also expanding its graduate scheme to include placements in Rathbones Asset Management.
Graduates will start in September, joining other cohorts across Wealth.
The company will welcome summer interns across data and technology to offices in London, Liverpool and Glasgow, another group of school-leaver apprentices into Wealth, and interns through its partnership with the 10,000 Interns programme, supporting underrepresented graduates across the UK.
Lorna Williamson, head of emerging talent at Rathbones, said: “This year marks an important step in how Rathbones is developing its future talent, building on a strong graduate foundation by creating new routes into the business.
“This expansion reflects a deliberate approach to broadening access, creating opportunity and investing in the people who will help shape our future.
“Our people are at the heart of what we do, and we look forward to welcoming early career talent into the business.”
