Deloitte UK sets record with over 6,000 promotions

Average in-grade salary increases will be 4.2%, up from 2.9% in 2025.

Deloitte UK has announced that it will promote over 6,000 people on 1st June 2026, including 48 new partners. 

Average in-grade salary increases will be 4.2%, up from 2.9% in 2025. 

The bonus pool will rise by 14% across the business.

Deloitte UK will increase its equity partners to a record 784, after converting 68 salaried partners and promoting 48 new partners. 

The total number of partners will stand at 1,308, the highest annual total since Deloitte LLP was incorporated in 2003.

The technology and transformation team has promoted 15 new partners.

Tax and legal has promoted 16, strategy, risk and transactions advisory has promoted 10, and audit and assurance has promoted seven. 

31% of new partners are based outside London, 27% are women, and 15% are from an ethnic minority background, including one black heritage new partner.

29% of new partners work in financial services.

Deloitte UK recruited 21 new external hires at partner level from June 2025 to May 2026. 

38% are women and 19% are from an ethnic minority background.
