Revolut Business has launched GlobalHire, a new platform for UK firms to hire, onboard and pay international staff without the need for a local entity.

GlobalHire moves candidates from contract to onboarded in two to five days and automates compliance and payroll, helping businesses avoid the costs and admin of international setup.

The platform uses Revolut’s FX stack so businesses can pay salaries at the interbank rate, avoiding mark-ups common with Employer of Record (EoR) providers.

A recent survey by Revolut Business found 27% of UK companies were held back by local compliance rules when expanding abroad.

Alex Codina, general manager of merchant payments and GlobalHire at Revolut, said: “A business’s ambition shouldn’t be limited by where it is headquartered, nor by local currency barriers.

“GlobalHire goes beyond recruitment; it’s a strategic asset in a business’ arsenal to fuel borderless growth.

“It’s designed to remove administrative friction to hiring for talent obsessed, global firms, while ensuring CFO’s maintain control over capital and compliance.”

Codina added: “We want businesses globally to have access to the same resources to fuel hyper-growth as Revolut did.

“Launching GlobalHire is a major milestone in our mission to democratise access to global talent, ensuring that the best companies can hire the best talent, regardless of geography.”
