ESG analysts and ecologists among green jobs resisting automation, study finds

ESG analysts, ecologists and retrofit coordinators are among the green jobs highlighted in MyPerfectCV’s 12 Green Jobs Report as being most resilient to automation. 

Data showed that the UK’s green economy already supports nearly 951,400 full-time jobs, with roles in the sector offering an average salary 15% higher than the national figure. 

The transition to net zero is expected to create up to 725,000 net new jobs in low-carbon sectors by 2030.

Other roles identified in the report include Heat pump installers, home insulation installers, decarbonisation consultants, green investment analysts, home energy advisers, community project managers, behaviour change specialists, rewilding officers and conservation officers.
