CIPR opens survey to track PR industry response to AI and workforce changes
The State of the Profession 2026 survey covers skills, training needs, salaries, reputation, and responses to developments in AI and the global news agenda.
The Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has opened its State of the Profession 2026 survey to gather insights from PR professionals on how they work, what challenges they face, and industry trends.
The survey covers skills, training needs, salaries, reputation, and responses to developments in artificial intelligence (AI) and the global news agenda.
The survey is open to all, takes about 10 minutes to complete, and participants can enter a prize draw for a £100 gift card.
Farzana Baduel, president at the CIPR, said: “The State of the Profession survey is how we take the pulse of our industry.
“The data we gather shapes our policy work, our member services, and our ability to speak with authority on behalf of practitioners.
“At a time when the profession is navigating significant change – from the integration of AI tools to a turbulent geopolitical environment – that knowledge base matters more than ever.”
Baduel added: “Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share it with your contacts, whether they’re a CIPR member or not.”
