WPP gender pay gap narrows as more women reach top roles in 2025

WPP’s UK gender pay gap narrowed in 2025, with the mean gap dropping from 20.5% in 2024 to 20.3% in 2025. 

Its latest report revealed that the median pay gap fell from 17.8% to 17.4%, linked to more women in the top pay quartile.

The report found the median bonus gap decreased, while the mean bonus gap increased. 

In 2025, women held 55% of senior manager jobs and 42% of executive leadership roles globally at WPP. 

In the UK, women made up 55% of the workforce. 

There was gender parity on the WPP board, and three of the most senior jobs – CEO, CFO and senior independent director – were held by women.
