TFAS launches virtual CPD programme for advisers
TFAS Compliance Services has introduced a new virtual CPD and insights programme to help advisers navigate post-Budget tax changes and evolving regulation.
TFAS Compliance Services has launched a new virtual Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and insights programme aimed at helping advisers respond to post-Budget tax changes and a shifting regulatory and market environment.
The programme brings together specialists from Aegon, Tatton, Aviva, Orbis and Momentum in its first phase. It is designed to provide practical insights for advisers operating in an increasingly complex advice landscape shaped by policy changes, legislative reform and market volatility.
Delivered through a combination of live webinars, on-demand sessions and podcasts, the series will focus on issues expected to affect advisers and their clients during 2026 and beyond. Topics will include post-Budget tax planning, retirement income strategies, regulatory developments and global market commentary.
Sessions in the first phase include Budget 2025: Advice issues and opportunities with Aegon, Anchors, storms and alpha with Tatton, Reasons to be cheerful: Unlocking post-Budget potential with Aviva, A new direction for income with Momentum, UK legislation and FCA regulation in 2026: AML, KYC and onboarding requirements with SmartSearch, and The more things change, the more they stay the same with Orbis.
The programme launched last week with a webinar examining support for vulnerable clients. The session explored how firms can better identify and assist clients in vulnerable circumstances while meeting evolving regulatory expectations, featuring speakers from Just Group, MyCare Consultants and TFAS’ compliance specialists.
Further events are planned later in the year with Rathbones, M&G and Columbia Threadneedle scheduled to contribute sessions in the second and third quarters of 2026.
Richard Ardron, chief commercial officer at TFAS Compliance Services, said: “Advisers continue to provide more advice to more clients and with a number of external factors reshaping a lot of those conversations, advisers are looking to access concise, high quality support and CPD rooted in real-world advice issues. Our new programme is built to directly address that need, bringing together leading financial services experts to focus on the most prevalent challenges facing advisers currently, including post-Budget tax planning, market volatility, and evolving regulation.
“By working with some of the industry’s most respected providers, TFAS is offering advisers a rounded view of the landscape – from macro policy change and investment themes through to the practicalities of AML, KYC, and onboarding.”
