Swindon Borough Council and Commercial Services Group launch recruitment partnership

Swindon Borough Council and Commercial Services Group will launch a new partnership later this year to create local jobs, support businesses and strengthen the council workforce.
The partnership will set up a recruitment agency based within the council to bring the recruitment of temporary, freelance and consultant staff closer to Swindon and the surrounding areas.
The agency will create five new permanent roles, with recruitment prioritised for people from Swindon.
It will also work with small and medium-sized businesses locally to bring more firms into the council’s supply chain.
