Rygor Group has brought colleagues together for two of its key annual events, celebrating individual excellence and long-term service across the business.

The company’s annual Group Awards took place on 29th January at the Home Grown Hotel in London, recognising team members nominated by their peers for demonstrating excellence across the organisation. Awards were presented for technical excellence, leadership excellence, the One and Only award, the Changemaker award and customer service excellence.

John Keogh, managing director at Rygor, said: “Hearing the stories behind each nomination is a powerful reminder of the talent and commitment that underpin Rygor’s culture as well as the support and recognition that our team members show for each other.”

The following week, the company hosted its Long Service Lunch at Pennyhill Park hotel in Surrey, recognising colleagues who have reached 10, 15, 20 and 25 years with the business. The event marks a longstanding tradition within Rygor, highlighting the loyalty and dedication of staff who have built their careers with the company.

Rish Channa, commercial director at Rygor, said: “I am so proud to see so many team members who have dedicated such substantial parts of their lives to the business; it is both humbling and inspiring to witness the depth of commitment within the team and I am delighted that the culture we have built at Rygor and the brilliant colleagues we have within the Groups, supports our team members’ desire to stay with the company for so long.”

Lisa Powell, payroll manager at Rygor and winner of the One and Only award, said: “I feel very honoured to receive the award and share the awards evening with some incredible members of the team. I am proud to be part of a team that continually demonstrates dedication, excellence and genuine support for one another.”

Rygor said the two events reflect its commitment to recognising performance, loyalty and the shared values of being Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful across the organisation.
