Raven Housing Trust has been reaccredited with Investors in People Gold, recognising the organisation’s continued focus on culture, leadership and colleague engagement.
Raven has held Investors in People accreditation since 2005 and first achieved Gold status in 2016. The latest assessment found the organisation’s overall score now exceeds the Investors in People average, with improvements recorded since its previous review in 2022. Assessors highlighted high levels of trust across the organisation, strong people management tools and creative internal communication practices.
The housing provider is now rated as high performing across most assessment themes, including leading and inspiring people, living organisational values and behaviours, and creating sustainable success.
At the start of 2025, Raven introduced its One Raven Culture Framework, built around three principles: Put Customers First, Always Be Curious and Make It Happen. The framework has been embedded through colleague workshops, training aligned to key behaviours, a new manager development programme and quarterly culture awards recognising staff through peer nominations.
Gayle Hunt, assistant director of people and culture at Raven Housing Trust, said: “This gold reaccreditation is a brilliant endorsement of the work colleagues have put into strengthening our culture and leadership approach. Over the past year we have focused on embedding our One Raven Culture Framework so that our values and behaviours are lived day-to-day, supporting people to feel confident, supported and proud of the work they do for customers.”
Jonathan Higgs, chief executive of Raven Housing Trust, added: “Achieving Investors in People Gold again is a fantastic recognition of the culture we are building at Raven. It reflects the pride colleagues take in their work and the way they support one another to deliver for customers. We know that a great customer experience starts with a great colleague experience and we will continue to invest in our people, our leadership and our culture.”
