The donation aimed to help ensure children across the city could enjoy a treat over the holiday, with the eggs distributed to families.
A Worcester-based recruitment firm has donated more than 200 chocolate Easter eggs to Worcester Foodbank, marking the third consecutive year it has supported local families during the Easter period.
Pineapple Recruitment said the donation aimed to help ensure children across the city could enjoy a treat over the holiday, with the eggs distributed to families supported by the foodbank.
Kasia Krieger, director at Pineapple Recruitment, said: “Everyone here at Pineapple Recruitment loves supporting the team at Worcester Foodbank.
“Only when you see for yourself how much they do for local families do you appreciate the effort and kindness they put in every day.
“It’s our third year of providing the foodbank with hundreds of Easter eggs which help ensures they’re well-stocked and no local children go without a chocolate treat.
“As a growing business, we believe it’s important to give back to our local community. It truly means a great deal to us to play our part.”
Emma Green, operations coordinator at Worcester Foodbank, added: “Kasia and the team at Pineapple Recruitment have once again shown incredible generosity.
“Their continued support over the past three years has made a real difference, and we know these donations will bring smiles to many children across Worcester this Easter. We simply can’t thank them enough.”
