Future Fit Group has signed the Age-friendly Employer Pledge, a UK-wide programme from the Centre for Ageing Better that encourages age-inclusive workplaces.

The pledge aims to support organisations in improving recruitment, retention, and development of workers aged 50 and over.

Future Fit Group said it will now take steps to widen its applicant pool and ensure older workers can continue to contribute to the business.

Megan Yorke, chief administrative officer at Future Fit Group, said: “Signing the Age-friendly Employer Pledge reflects our belief that age should never be a barrier to opportunity.

“We see the experience and value older workers bring, and this pledge strengthens our commitment to recognising the strengths each person contributes and ensuring our people feel valued, respected, and able to thrive.”
